I agree with you! I'm hearing all this talk about how the ink that I have been up to my elbows in for the past 17 years is toxic. Why did the EU restrict the use of phthalates in toys? A. The European legislature voted to pass the restriction, even though the draft conclusion of an exhaustive safety review of the principal phthalate used in toys stated it was “unlikely to pose a risk” even for newborns.
