| Scotty, run a hot split clear first through a 180-200. Use a hot split paper only, not a coated paper. Clear doesn't like to stick to coated stock. If you have registration considerations, preshrink your paper first and keep it warm by storing it in a poly bag you can fashion out of clear plastic; use a housing grade that would work for vapor barriers in construction. Fold it around itself tightly and store on top of your dryer between colors. Yes print one color at a time. Once you start to print a color don't stop unless you need something away from the press that is very important like a beer. The longer and slower the gel(235') the better. If you want 50 good sheets start with 100 sheets. The top 25(+ or -) and the bottom 25 will have reggie issues. The middle ones will be good. Run your tones on 305's. I've done 4 color process transfers on darks for Anthill, Blue Grape/Brovado with bands like Metallica, Danziz and Slipknot to name a few. I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have about process transfers on light colored shirts. | ||
