Usually you have to overprint the halftones with another color or a clear.(This will be under the halftone when the transfer is pressed onto the shirt). There is not enough ink in a fine halftone on a transfer to adhere to the shirt, or it may possibly cure instead of gel when running it thru the oven. Give this a try and see if it fixes your problem. I believe that it will. ...P.S. I don't recommend wet on wet printing on transfers. Adhesive powder is OK, but run each color separately.
