Donna, I think it is a great start. On the pricing page, I think you need to put the pricing in a table with visable lines. It is just easier to read that way. And you need to be more specific on exactly what those prices are for. Does that include the garments, and if so, what styles/colors. Surely you aint doing hoodies for those prices. I would also think you may want to provide info on what art formats you accept and exactly how it should be created. I think that having a "gallery" section with sample prints is a great idea, but I might would skip the templates. We tried that once, spent hours and hours with that, only to never have anyone order one. I think that people look at your selection of templates and then leave your site because you do not offer exactly what they want. Even if you had 10,000 templates, you would probably not have exactly what they wanted. And last but not least, put a form on your quote request. Based on personal experiance, if you just ask people to email you, they will send emails like: "I need some tank tops printed, how much?" Then you have to email them back and ask about the artwork and locations and sizes and colors and quantities and all that crapola. Then they tell you that stuff is dependant upon the price. And you have to email them again explaining that the price is dependant on the specs. Then you never hear from them again. The truth is that web design is very difficult. In many ways it is more difficult that t-shirt design, but don't get frustrated, just keep building onto what you have already done, making improvements here and there. We have been working on ours since 1999, and it is no where near where I would like it to be. | |
