I have about fifteen custom platens for all the different products we print. Cd's, lighters, koozies, hats, guitar picks & straps, mouse pads, signs, dog tags.... Why don't you order some blank koozies and try it out? Plastisol is fine. A sleeve platen might be too wide to handle the kooz so you might end up making a platen. It's easy to do. Malemine works best for me - it's 29.00 for a 4'x8' sheet at the Ho Depot. We try printing new things all the time, hit up the dollar store and you'll find some cool things to print on.
