  hello all,

anyone know what would happen when a servo press was cycled while something is in the way?

im looking for some stories to reinforce the importance of making sure an automatic press can not be cycled while the employee is working under or inbetween the pallets. we have two Anatols and two M&Rs, both with servos. i want to make sure people remember to use the emergency stop button or open a safety bar before walking into or under a press.

ive seen what happens when a newman frame is between the pallet and the print head - lots of bent parts and downtime, ive also seen what happens when a person gets caught in a pneumatic cycling press... ouch...

anybody care to share?

thanks in advance
