is any one else out there using programs like gimp or inkscape? i' ve been working with these programs for a little while now and love them. for those who don't know about them yet. gimp is a raster/photo program a lot like photoshop and inkscape is like illustrator. the best part about these programs is that they are free. i have found that these two programs have replaced my adobe ones for creating graphics and seperations. if any one else would like to try them out just google search the names and you'll find a lot of information and links to download these files. you have to have a computer that runs a unix based os. i use an old imac g3 with osx 10.4 tiger with x11 installed. this allows my mac to operated unix x codes. if any one has tips or tricks they'd like to share, i'd love to hear about it. and good luck to all. ____________________ | |
