Hello Dan, You have purchased a very good Epson product and now you are looking for a rip to work with it. Well, I can tell you that from my experience they both work very well with your printer. I would like to recommend that you download both their demo's and see which you like the most. They do differ in cost due to the fast that there is a dongle involved while the other is web activated, but they do differ in appearance. Take a look.
