So even an older 400mhz will run FastRIP OK? Is there any difference in the speed that a computer with a fast processor would handle these printing jobs or is the software designed to place the job into the printer cache and then it is all based on the speed of the printer? I have a chance to get a cheap 400mhz that has 640 RAM. Would that be enough or would I be better getting a 1Gig processor with a couple gig of RAM? They are both G4 models. Whatever OS that is loaded on to the computer I can also install OS 9 and as I understand a Mac will run with both OS systems installed correct? | ||
