Kevin, I've been avoiding responding to your question. My apologies. But I've been there. And frankly, the whole episode still gives me a major headache, just thinking about it. I'm assuming your talking about X4 on Vista, correct? As Horny suggested, try the obvious first. Make sure the Preview box is checked and make sure your view properties are set to at least MEDIUM..........small icons will only show as generic in Vista. I finally did get my image preview fixed...but it wasn't easy. And unfortunately I can't tell you exactly what I had to do or why/how it finally got rectified. I TRIED EVERYTHING. Trust me. I was at my wits end. If those 2 quick fixes don't do the trick, let me know. I'll dig out all my correspondence with Corel and all the various help files I was directed to. I can tell you what steps to try, in which order. Unfortunately I don't know which one will work for you. It seems people with this issue, had different results. First let us know if those 2 above mentioned suggestions helped. | |
