Does anyone know the trick to the wiper blade mechanism? I have a 916 and the lock washer and nut keep loosening and falling off. I know it isn't supposed to move, but mine does. If it tighten it too much it gets stuck and I have to manually pull it up out of the way, or it is too loose and it won't pull the thread up and it drags it all over my sew-out. I'm hoping there is an easier way to put this back on, cause right now I only have two hands and needle nose pliers. Is there something else I need to take off first, or just more patience? thanks, Susie | ||
