Trying to figure out why exposed emulsion washes out. Mixed up a gallon a month ago, poured some into a pitcher, light tight of course. The gallon is in the house in a box 70 degrees. The pitcher I had in my garage in a box and it has gotten hot 93 degrees. my screens are in a box i built with dehumidifier and fan enclosed, light tight. exposing white mesh 180 for around 2min 45 sec with 1k light. The image appears on wash out and then all emulsion washes away easily. I thought it was the light source but the back of the screen is not soapy or slimey. have i ruined the pitcher full which is about a half of gallon? i also noticed on wash out when first dousing with water the image didnt contrast like it usually does, but i have had many successful screens b4 now.

update: I took an unexposed screen outside for an hour, then straight to the washout booth and the emulsion washed out of it easily. After reading other posts and what not, I think I will try qx1 because of the shelf life and am hoping I will be able to maintain 42line haltones.

thanks
