Hey guys, We're having a couple issues with our printing and I was wondering how everyone else compares. How often does everyone have to fiddle with screens after you've done a test print? I'm not talking 1-2 color spot process jobs....I'm talking simulated 4-7 color jobs or spot jobs with gobs of gradients, etc Our boss is complaining it happens too often and we're waisting too much time and money setting up jobs and having to stop the press to change a screen because it wasn't sepped perfect. In my experience it's happened everywhere I've been. Simulated process jobs have always needed tweaking. Some times it ends up being perfect......but alot of times a screen/channel needs tweaked. Am I in the minority here? Is there a perfect seperation software? I need some feedback because it's really becoming an issue.... Thanks | |
