Operation of Sakurai cylinder screen printing press; proper screen reclaiming, coating, exposing, and stretching techniques; different Diazo and Dual Cure based emulsions; UV exposure test for proper screen exposure; mesh preparation for capillary film; mixing and color matching UV and solvent based inks based on Pantone Color Matching System; stretching screens to proper tensions based on mesh count; screen preparation and inspection for final production runs; perform set-ups and teardowns of all jobs on the machine; vinyl substrates; spot color and four-color processes; ability to achieve hairline print registration; read production orders and determine proper screen set up progression; determine the proper inks to be used on each job; produce efficiently in a quality fashion; communicate with clients, co-workers and supervisor.
