Take your mesh TPI and divide by 4 or 5 (4.5 is what I typically use).

Example: 305 / 4.5 = 67.77

It's definitely possible to hold 3% dots at 65 LPI on 305 TPI, but of course the rest of your process will influence your results (tension, exposure, emulsion, positives, etc.)
