I just read my manual for my new M&R fusion dryer. It says to stretch the ink to see if it cracks. I washed 2 shirts that we ran thru the new dryer while trying to dial in the perfect settings. One of the shirts cracked when stretched and one didn't. When I pulled them out of the washer, the one that cracked when stretched had ink cracking and coming off and the one that didn't crack when stretched looked perfect. We always use a temp gun to check temps and we always stretch the ink to see if it cracks. No matter what the temp gun says, if the ink cracks, we adjust the temp or belt speed. Cracking ink is the first sign that the ink is not fully cured. Even the largest equipment manufacturer suggests stretching the ink to see if it cracks. | ||
