Here's the question - IF anyone is consistently able to print white on black and/or dark colors without a flash/reprint (manual press), please describe in great detail your technique. Mesh, what emulsion, coating technique (how many coats/side - which blade of coater), which ink, off contact, squeegee technique (speed, pressure, # of strokes) - any detail that would help me reproduce your results. I'd really like to not flash and reprint on the large orders. An automatic is not in the budget for the foreseeable future. Alternate question: If I do have to print/flash/reprint, what about printing a slightly oversized version of the same art using clear ink - then flash - then print white. The reason would be to avoid the precise line-up required for the overprint. Would the flashed clear stop the fiber 'uprising' and yield the same results as white/flash/white. Anyone try that? I have a job with some very small text (and large areas) and a tiny move between whites would render some text unreadable. Thanks in advance. ____________________ Glenn Cotita Current River Trading Company Rolla, MO 573.435-7777currentrivertrading.com | ||
