I have a 3000 that I use with sub inks. The sub inks, especially Sawgrass tend to clog print heads. The worst one is black. If you don't print something near every day and/or forget to do daily head cleaning, which wastes ink I do the following: After using dye sub I replace the cartridges with OEM inks. Do a head cleaning or two and let them sit till I'm ready to do dye sub again. then one or two cleanings with the dye sub and you're good to go.
