I have a 3000 that I use with sub inks. The sub inks, especially Sawgrass tend to clog print heads. The worst one is black.
If you don't print something near every day and/or forget to do daily head cleaning, which wastes ink I do the following:
After using dye sub I replace the cartridges with OEM inks. Do a head cleaning or two and let them sit till I'm ready to do dye sub again. then one or two cleanings with the dye sub and you're good to go.
Then just repeat the process.
