now, just to be clear, the updates, per se, weren't a problem until I tried to update to version 8.something or other. This completely buggered the entire system, and required a safe mode un-installation, and re-installation of a v7. The other frustration, for me, was the occasional spat between Windows malicious software removal and ZA (and more recently Kasperzky for the anti-virus duties) There were also former industry-wide issues all, once again a battle between ZA (or actually its True Vector component. At any rate, the trial is free, the resolution of issues for me, priceless. Oh yeah, I found mention of a coupon code on the third or fourth page of a Nod32 Google search, that saved me another $10! Though now expired, who knows what you will find if diligent. ____________________ This place used to be something very special. | |
