Q: Do I have to register?
A: No, everyone can read the Boards and search through the archives, but only registered members can post. If you just want to read the Boards, you do not need to register.

Q: Ok, so why do I have to register?
A: Over the years these Boards have become very popular, so popular that SPAMers and "no-good-nicks" want to post here too. We ask that you register to keep out people not genuinely interested in becoming a part of the garment decorating community. We want to help each other, learn, and have fun.

Q: Will entering my real email address expose it to spam bots?
A: We have implemented a system that effectively "masks" your email from Spam Bots yet appears perfectly normal when displayed in your web browser. While this system works very well, no system is fully "botproof" and thus we are constantly keeping our eyes open for new technologies to help keep your information private.

General Questions

Q: When I try to post a message, I am simply taken to the bottom of the message list! How do I post?
A: When this happens, it means you are not logged in correctly. Use the login option from the menu (or click here) and enter your username and password as they were emailed to you. Please remember that your password is case-sensitive!

Q: I'm tired of getting all these emails from you every night! How do I make them stop?
A: First, make sure you are logged into your account. Next, choose Profile from the menu at the main boards page; this will take you to your profile. Scroll down to the bottom and you will see a list of Digests you are currently subscribed to. Uncheck the ones you no longer want to receive nightly emails for and click the "Edit Profile" button to finalize your changes.

Q: I get the Login successful message, but it still says Only registered members can post. It still says This member does not allow their profile to be viewed by un-registered visitors."
A:

• The majority of members reporting this issue have had a third party software as the cause. If you are using a fire wall software, pop-up ad blocker, etc., please review your settings.
• Check to see if you are accepting cookies. Your login status is carried between pages via cookies.
• Some users have reported login problems when logging in from non-frame pages. Try logging in from the home page.
• Both username and password are case sensitive. Be sure you are entering them as indicated.
• You may be viewing an old page from your browser's cache. Reload/refresh the page.

Q: None of the Classifieds Boards display correctly (all I see are the posters names).
A: The few reports we've received about this problem were also the result of a third party firewall/pop-up ad blocker software as the cause. Check to see if any programs you're running might be altering web pages you view.

Q: How do I edit/make changes to a post I made in the past?
A: First, make sure that you're logged in! Next, go to the message you posted and would like to edit. Select it from the list of messages and look for the button below the body that says "Edit". Click on it, make your changes and submit!

Q: I posted a message, but it isn't showing up.
A: You are most likely viewing the page from your browser's cache. Reload/refresh the page/frame.
